History

Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery was founded by Dr. Matt L. Leavitt in 1990. Upon completing his Dermatology Residency, he established a solo dermatology practice in Orlando, FL. Within a few months, Dr. Leavitt had established three small part-time offices. This beginning formed the foundation of Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery. Today, Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery has grown to include over 50 offices in the state of Florida offering the convenience of getting an immediate appointment with a qualified expert.

Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery specializes in complete care for the skin, hair and nails. Our general dermatology care includes treatment of rashes, psoriasis, acne, nail conditions and hair loss. In addition to providing the education to help prevent skin cancer, we also diagnose and perform skin cancer surgery.

As a natural extension of our dermatology services, we offer a variety of cosmetic procedures. These treatments include spider and varicose vein therapy, Botox, collagen, Restylane, chemical peels, laser hair removal, laser skin resurfacing and permanent make-up.
