Credentials:
Dr. Derek G. Kenneaster earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating with Phi Beta Kappa and University Honors. He earned his Medical Degree with honors from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, where he was awarded the Upjohn Achievement Award, given to the top graduate. He also received honors from the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Kenneaster completed an Internship and Dermatology Residency in Springfield, Illinois.
He previously served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Urbana-Champaign and has authored articles published in medical journals. A Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Kenneaster specializes in the treatment of skin, hair, and nail disorders. He has additional training in various cosmetic procedures.
