Dr. Leonard D. Cutler earned his Medical Degree at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, Maryland. Upon graduating from Medical School, he completed a year of Straight Medical Internship at The Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. From there he did his Dermatology Residency at The University of Maryland. Dr. Cutler is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of The American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Cutler was in private practice in Chevy Chase, Maryland for 36 years before moving to Naples, Florida. He has been teaching the Residents at The Washington Hospital Center, The George Washington University Hospital, and Georgetown University the techniques of injecting Collagen, Restylane, Juvederm, and other filling substances since the 1980’s.
In Maryland, Dr. Cutler was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at The George Washington University School of Medicine. He was also a Senior Attending and Vice Chairman of the Department of Dermatology at The Washington Hospital Center, as well as an active member of the Montgomery County Medical Society.
Dr. Cutler is experienced and enjoys treating all aspects of Dermatology including the prevention, detection, and treatment of skin cancer, as well as other disorders of the skin, hair, and nails. He has a special interest in filling substances and cosmetic dermatology.
