Dr. Denise Guevara earned her medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She was a recipient of the National Institutes of Health Research grant. As a fellow at Mount Sinai Department of Dermatology she worked on studies and collaborated on multiple journal articles relating to anti-aging and anti-cancer. As a clinical research coordinator she worked on studies with the FADC at the University of Miami Hospital, where she also worked extensively in the departments of in-patient care and Pediatric Dermatology. Dr. Guevara completed her residency at Wellington Regional Medical Center where she served as chief resident and rotated in the department of Dermatology at Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania.
She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, AOCD, American Medical Association, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.
Dr. Guevara is board certified in dermatology and specializes in dermatologic surgery, skin cancer prevention and treatment, and aesthetic medicine.
