Dr. Stephen McAskill earned his Medical Degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He served an internship at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach.
Dr. McAskill then returned to Pennsylvania State University, where he completed his Family Practice residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. He completed a Dermatology Fellowship at Dermatology Associates of Northeast Florida in Palm Coast.
Since 1988, Dr. McAskill has been very active in the research field. In 2000, he received the Mead Johnson Award, for excellence in Graduate Medical Education. Dr. McAskill practices all aspects of clinical dermatology and treats skin cancer. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice.
