Skin Cancer Exams Save Lives
May 3rd is Melanoma Monday:
Free Skin Cancer Screenings Available on May 3rd Only
The American Academy of Dermatology established Melanoma Monday to raise awareness of the symptoms, causes and prevention of melanoma, the deadliest type of skin cancer.
Skin Cancer is the most common cancer in the U.S. and accounts for almost half of all cancers. Every hour, one person dies of melanoma. Yet, with early detection, melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers, including basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma, are very treatable.
Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery is dedicated not only to skin cancer diagnosis but also to awareness and prevention, including the importance of annual Total-Body Skin Cancer Exams to catch skin cancer when it is most treatable.
Please call our scheduling team and let us know if you are booking an appointment for a Free Skin Cancer Screening on Melanoma Monday (at one of the participating locations below) or are interested in booking your annual Total-Body Skin Cancer Exam (most insurance accepted, regular visit fees apply).
