Dr. Funke is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs surgeon who grew up in Kodiak, Alaska. Dr. Funke attended the University of Louisville medical school, where she completed her Internal Medicine internship, and dermatology residency. Following residency, Dr. Funke completed her fellowship in Mohs Micrographic and Dermatologic Surgery at the University of Colorado.
During that time, Dr. Funke received intensive training in skin cancer and reconstructive surgery as well as cosmetic dermatologic surgery. Dr. Funke is a practicing full-time Mohs surgeon and has treated thousands of patients with skin cancer. She is also a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. She is committed to providing the highest level of care for her patients undergoing Mohs surgery in a pleasant and professional environment.
When Dr. Funke is not seeing patients, She enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and all other outdoor adventures. She also enjoys playing volleyball and watching football with her family, and their German Shepherd.
