Credentials
Dr. Harvey was raised in Alpine, Utah, and attended Brigham Young University in Provo, where she studied Physiology and Development Biology. She then completed her medical degree from Mayo Clinic School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota.
Following medical school, she completed a Transitional Year Internship at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, and went on to complete three years of Dermatology Residency.
Dr. Harvey has an emphasis on melanoma and nonmelanoma skin cancer treatment and prevention. She has training and expertise in patients who are at high risk for skin cancer. Additionally, she has an emphasis on medical dermatology - the treatment of conditions of the skin, hair and nails. She sees patients with eczema, psoriasis, acne, autoimmune diseases, and more.
Dr. Harvey has published over a dozen peer-reviewed articles, in prestigious journals like the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has had numerous oral and poster presentations at national meetings including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and Women’s Dermatologic Society. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Phoenix Dermatology Society, Women’s Dermatologic Society, and American Society for Dermatology Surgery.
When not at work, she enjoys hiking, cycling, camping, gardening, spending time with her family and dog.
