Saadatu attended Savannah State University in Georgia, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications. She later entered the military as a naval officer and, upon discharge, worked at the Naval Branch Health Clinic, where she discovered her love of medicine. Saadatu trained under a certified dermatology physician assistant while completing medical courses at Florida State University in Jacksonville and caring for patients as a nursing assistant. She also received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Louisiana State University Health Science Center before returning to Florida to pursue her passion in dermatology.
Saadatu is accredited by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is also a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Veteran Caucus of the American Association of Physician Assistants. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and is recognized as an SDPA Diplomate Fellow – the highest credential a Dermatology PA can achieve.
Saadatu has extensive experience in detecting and treating skin cancer, in addition to performing routine skin checks and treating most medical dermatologic conditions. In her spare time, Saadatu enjoys tennis, hiking, walking her dog, Benny, and traveling abroad.
