Tina Pickett, M.D. is a board certified dermatologist with over 22 years’ experience in the metro Detroit area. She was previously the owner of Fosnaugh Skin and Hair Clinic located in Southfield, Bingham Farms Dermatology from 2003-2015, and was a staff physician with the Henry Ford Health System at the Pierson-Grosse Pointe clinic and Troy facilities before joining the Grekin Skin Institute at Skin Perfection in January 2017.
Dr. Pickett attended Detroit Public Schools and was a member of the first graduating class of Renaissance High School in Detroit. She holds an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Northwestern University and received her medical degree from Wayne State University. She interned at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, and completed her dermatology residency at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Pickett provides general, pediatric and cosmetic dermatology. She is also a consultant with the Detroit Clinical Research Center and is affiliated with the Community Cancer Research Consortium. Dr. Pickett has sat on numerous advisory boards of pharmaceutical companies and has done research. She is a member of the Michigan Dermatological Society and American Academy of Dermatology. Her interests are skin cancer screening and treatment, acne, mole removal and overall skin rejuvenation.
Dr. Pickett also contributes to her community via participation in Jack and Jill of America’s Oakland County Chapter, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Northwestern University’s Detroit Alumni Club and NUBAA (Northwestern University Black Alumni Association).
