Biography:
Tiffany McMurray always knew she wanted to pursue a career in medicine, and after working several years in Cardiac Intensive Care at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida she ultimately found dermatology as her true passion. She finds joy in helping people and uses her medical skills to highlight healthy, beautiful skin. She enjoys all aspects of general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology and excels in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers, precancerous lesions and multiple skin disorders. As a third generation Floridian, she is no stranger to the effects of the Florida sun and is actively engaged in community outreach by educating individuals about the importance of sun protection. Ms. McMurray’s attentiveness to the latest medical developments finds her researching, reading and attending seminars to stay on the forefront of best practices. She has extensive training in the field of cosmetic injections including BOTOX® procedures and dermal filler treatments such as Restylane, Radiesse, Sculptra and Juvederm XC. As a leader with new injection techniques, she is frequently asked to speak for special events with a focus on skin care and cosmetic dermatology. In addition, she serves as a mentor and inspires other nurses desiring to advance their careers.
Ms. McMurray believes the key to building relationships with her patients is through strong communication. She is compassionate to individual concerns and encourages patients to ask questions, know their medical needs and understand treatment plans.
