Credentials
Dr. Annyella Douglas was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She completed her undergraduate degree in Anthropology from Temple University, Master’s degree in Medical Sciences from the University of South Florida and Medical Degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. She then completed her dermatology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Douglas will complete a one- year hair restoration fellowship in 2024 with Dr. Matt Leavitt, founder of Medical Hair Restoration and Executive Medical Advisor for Bosley.
During her academic training, Dr. Douglas provided dermatologic health care in Ghana through the Global Health Scholars program. Her research interests include hair loss and hidradenitis suppurativa. Her accolades include recognition as a VisualDx Impact Leader and the National Medical Association Young Physician of the Year Award.
Dr. Douglas specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She provides exceptional and personalized care for every patient. She treats a wide range of common and complex disorders including acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair disorders, hidradenitis suppurativa, pigmentary conditions and skin cancers in patients of all ages and skin types.
Dr. Douglas is excited to join the South Florida community and in her free time enjoys going to the beach, hiking, reading non-fiction books, and mentoring future physicians.
