“Our most successful students are eager to learn in a challenging environment that prioritizes patient care.” Dr. Glassman, Board Certified Dermatologist

“I have nearly 20 years’ experience running a highly successful MA bridge-year program in the Washington, DC area that has placed more than 85 percent of our students in medical schools.

Now, we’ve expanded this program across the nation’s largest dermatology network of practices, and are represented by undergraduate universities nationwide.

Students quickly discover that the knowledge, expertise, and relationships they develop during this year will help them become tomorrow’s leaders who will change lives for the better and shape the future of medicine.

“Gaining substantial experience in healthcare has been invaluable to helping me commit to medicine as a career path.” Lina Crouse, PA-C, Graduate

“I participated in this program and found it to be an excellent launching pad for my career. I learned many skills traditionally taught in the later years of medical schools, including how to manage administrative tasks, assist with medical procedures, communicate effectively and collaborate well. I also made meaningful connections, which proved to be a very helpful support network. I’d recommend our Bridge-Year Program for any pre-med students who want to gain valuable clinical experience and strengthen their credentials when applying to medical school, PA, NP, or nursing programs.

It’s incredibly hands-on and patient interactive. And it’s also an opportunity to get a feel for a future as a clinician. Gaining substantial experience in healthcare has been invaluable to helping me commit to medicine as a career path.”

“The experience helped me imagine what my future as a physician might look like.” Will Bukowski, Program Graduate/Med School Applicant

“Advanced Dermatology has made a huge commitment to helping students gain real-world experience. I spent two years in the program, working with patients of all ages, and learned how physicians and clinicians work with their patients and each other. That experience helped me find my own voice and begin imagining what my future as a physician might look like. I received great support: time to study for my MCAT, letters of recommendation, and relationships with top providers that can only enhance my career opportunities for the future.”
