Credentials
A Jacksonville native, Barry began his career in the military where he was trained as a Cardiopulmonary Technician in the Air Force. He was then accepted into the USAF Physician Assistant Program and graduated in 1993 as a 2nd Lieutenant. He provided medical care to active-duty military and military families. After 9/11 he was privileged to serve in combat providing airborne Advanced Trauma Life Support as a member of the Special Operation Forces Medical Element (SOFME). He retired from the Air Force in 2003 and moved to Panama City, FL, where he worked as a Physician Assistant in a Cardiology Practice and an Urgent Care Center before moving into his dream of working in Dermatology.
As a Dermatology PA, Barry provides a full spectrum of dermatologic care and has extensive training and experience for patients who require surgical procedures. Barry’s philosophy on patient care is to provide an individualized approach that considers the whole patient with compassion and respect. His goal is to help patients achieve comfort and confidence in their skin, so they can live their best lives. Barry and his Family are excited to move to the Keys. In their spare time Barry and his family enjoy boating, friendly yet competitive games of tennis and golf and look forward to being part of the local community.
