Melissa Hodges is a board-certified APRN, who brings 18 years of experience as an ER nurse to the Advanced Dermatology team. Melissa earned her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Chicago. She then completed her Master’s in Nursing from Florida Southern College where she graduated with honors. Melissa is an active member of National Academy of Dermatology (NAD).
Melissa provides comprehensive care to patients of all ages. She specializes in general medical dermatology which includes skin cancer detection, biopsies, and the evaluation and treatment of acne, rashes, and other skin conditions. She strives to ensure all her patients feel comfortable during their visits and confident in their care. She takes pride in creating individualized care plans for each patient's skin concerns.
Melissa has a passion for cosmetic dermatology and strives to help her patients achieve their desired goals. She offers a wide variety of cosmetic procedures including BOTOX® Cosmetic, Restylane® Fillers, Juvéderm® Fillers, Microneedling, and PRP hair restoration. She believes in utilizing effective non-invasive strategies such as utilizing Vitamin C, Vitamin A / Retinol, Vitamin E, SPF, Moisturizer, Glycolic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid, and other cosmetic enhancements to help her patients achieve the best results possible.
In her free time Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and traveling.
