Dr. Moorhead is a board certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs surgeon. She attended medical school at Loma Linda University, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
She went on to complete an internship at the Mayo Clinic and a dermatology residency at Loma Linda University, where she served as chief resident. Following residency, she completed a fellowship at Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Procedural Dermatology. During that time, Dr. Moorhead received intensive training in skin cancer and reconstructive surgery as well as cosmetic dermatologic surgery.
Since then, Dr. Moorhead has practiced as a full-time Mohs surgeon and has treated thousands of patients with skin cancer. She is committed to providing the highest level of care for her patients undergoing Mohs surgery in a pleasant and professional environment. Dr. Moorhead is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, and a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
When Dr. Moorhead is not seeing patients, she can be found hiking, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband, two kids, and Schnauzer Lola.
