Adriana is a Physician Assistant certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a Dermatologist from Colombia. Adriana is a Dermatology professional who fluently speaks both Spanish and Portuguese and has more than 24 years of experience in the healthcare field.
She moved to Miami where she worked for 6 years as a research coordinator in Dermatology clinical trials. Then she transitioned her focus to become a Physician Assistant. She completed the Physician Assistant Program at Miami Dade College and earned a Master’s Degree in Medical Science from Saint Francis University in Pennsylvania. She has been working in Dermatology for the past 7 years.
Adriana is committed to providing excellent care to keep her patients skin healthy, happy, and cancer free. She specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of all skin, hair, and nail disorders, and the prevention of skin cancer in all age groups. She is trained and certified to perform a variety of cosmetic procedures including BOTOX®. She prioritizes patient education and preventative skin care in all of her treatments. She is an active member of both the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants (FAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, watching movies, and volunteering.
