Dr. Celb grew up in northeastern Ohio, the son of a Detroit raised father and Cleveland mother. That duality carried over in his education as he completed his bachelor's degree in Biology at the University of Michigan, and then pursued his medical education at The Ohio State University. While at Michigan, he spent a semester at the historic biological field station on Douglas Lake and realized his love for Northern Michigan. He attended both medical school and residency in Columbus where he was chief resident of his class in Emergency Medicine. After those years in Ohio, he turned back to Northern Michigan and spent the following near 14 years as an Emergency Physician in Petoskey. During that time he became and remained board certified in that specialty and grew a strang connection to the community. He served continuously at the same hospital, where he worked clinically as an Emergency Physician, as well as the hospital colleague health director, a member of the house wide quality committee where he also served as chairperson, on the medical executive committee, and as the Emergency Department medical director.
Early in 2016, Dr. Celb was invited to further his training in Dermatology by his colleague Dr. Murray Cotter and has since committed his practice to the exclusive care of patients with skin disease. With the oversight and support of his board certified dermatologist colleagues, Dr. Celb is seeing patients in both the Petoskey and Alpena offices.
