Credentials
Carl Demidovich, MD is board certified in dermatology and has been board certified in pediatrics. He graduated from Miami University summa cum laude with a B.A. in zoology in 1981. He received his M.D. degree from the Boonshoft School of Medicine in Ohio in 1985, where he was a junior inductee into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Demidovich financed his medical education with a scholarship from the United States Army. He completed residency training in pediatrics at Triple Army Medical Center in Hawaii, and then dermatology at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Denver. After additional assignments in San Fransisco, Wurzburg, Germany, and Fort Riley, Kansas, he fulfilled his commitment to the government, was honorably discharged and joined the Dermatology and Laser Center in 1996.
Dr. Demidovich focuses his current practice on Mohs surgery and dermatologic surgery. He has performed over 6,000 Mohs procedures during his career and continues to employ innovative and new techniques in the treatment of skin cancer.
Dr. Demidovich lectures and teaches dermatology for primary care physicians both in this country and internationally. He is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Dermatology where he provides dermatology resident surgical instruction. He actively participates in clinical research and takes pleasure in writing medical articles for publications. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Mohs Surgery.
In his free time, he enjoys mountain and road biking, downhill skiing, mountaineering, and scuba diving.
