Caroline Mercure is a board-certified physician assistant, originally from Canfield, Ohio, who moved to Pennsylvania to attend Seton Hill University. At Seton Hill, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Medical Studies and Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. After graduating in 2022, she started her career in pediatric primary care, gaining fundamental knowledge before transitioning to dermatology.
Caroline’s passion for dermatology is rooted in the belief that skin health and feeling comfortable in your skin directly impact overall well-being. She is passionate about providing patient-centered care, recognizing that each person’s needs are unique. Her primary focus is in medical dermatology, where she treats a wide variety of conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, acne, and skin cancer.
She also emphasizes the importance of regular skin checks and adheres to the American Academy of Dermatology’s guidelines, which recommend annual total-body skin exams to support the early detection and prevention of skin cancer and precancerous lesions.
