Credentials
Cayla Smith is originally from Buffalo, NY (Go Bills!) and earned her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University at Buffalo. She went on to complete a Master of Medical Science at LECOM and later earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Canisius University.
During PA school, Cayla served as a peer tutor, an experience that strengthened her appreciation for the educational side of medicine and the impact clear, supportive guidance can have on patient confidence. After graduation, she completed an intensive training program with Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery, further building a strong foundation in both medical and procedural dermatology.
Her approach to patient care is rooted in collaboration, communication, and education. She takes time to understand each patient’s concerns, goals, and lifestyle, working together to create treatment plans that feel realistic, personalized, and empowering.
Cayla enjoys helping patients set clear expectations and supporting them as their skin and confidence transform over time.
