Credentials
Dr. Callaghan is fellowship trained in Mohs surgery, cosmetic dermatology and laser procedures, and has lectured nationally and internationally.
He graduated cum laude with a BA from Boston College and earned his MD from Georgetown University, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for finishing in the top tier of his class. He completed his dermatology residency at Boston Medical Center and was one of 1O residents nationwide selected to present his research at the Resident of Distinction Award program. He was also awarded the Nancy and G. Robert Baler, MD Distinguished Clinical Scholar Award.
During his fellowship, one of only a few in the country accredited in both Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology, Dr. Callaghan trained with faculty from Harvard, Brown, and Yale at SkinCare Physicians. He enjoys hiking, skiing, attending concerts, photography, and watching sports, especially hockey and football.
