Dr. Kim is a board certified dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon who specializes in Cutaneous oncology and dermatological conditions for skin of color. She received her Bachelor of Science at the University of California at Irvine with an emphasis on Biological Sciences and Applied Ecology. Dr. Kim then attended Touro University at Mare Island graduating on the Deans List with a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to complete her residency training program at Valley Hospital Medical Center where her focus became Mohs surgery, women's adult acne, and cutaneous oncology and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Kim’s philosophy in medicine is to treat patients with the latest state-of-the art techniques and medications and a practical approach that will fit each individual's lifestyle. She uses this approach to treat skin cancer by drawing from a multidisciplinary background and resources such as the latest genetic testing, yearly radiographic scans, and Mohs Surgery. She also excels in the counseling and treatment of psoriatic and eczematic patients. She treats pediatric to geriatric patients. Dr. Kim is a Fellow of American Academy of Dermatology, Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, author of over +20 Peer Reviewed Articles in dermatology, and in the Comprehensive Dermatologic Drug Therapy 3rd edition.
