Credentials
Dr. Langley’s academic and professional path has been shaped by a longstanding interest in science, research, athletics, and hair restoration. He completed his undergraduate education at The Citadel, where he graduated with honors as the top student in the STEM department, served as captain of the genetic engineering team, and played tight end for The Citadel football team. As an Air Force cadet, he subsequently spent two years working with the Department of Defense before attending medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis and completing his residency training at LSU.
Throughout medical school and residency, Dr. Langley remained deeply involved in academic research, contributing to more than 20 peer-reviewed publications and participating in the development of a monoclonal antibody investigated for reducing keloid scarring. He continues to actively follow emerging research in hair restoration and dermatology and places a strong emphasis on incorporating current evidence into patient care.
Now serving as a hair restoration fellow, Dr. Langley brings a lifelong passion for hair loss to his clinical practice. His approach is centered on understanding each patient’s individual concerns, providing thoughtful and evidence-based recommendations, and continually refining his practice as new advances emerge in this rapidly evolving field.
