Lauren Leavitt completed her undergraduate education at Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She then went on to earn her Masters in Medical Science and Physician Assistant Studies at Nova Southeastern University, where she graduated with high honors and was elected into the Pi Alpha National Honor Society for Physician Assistants. During her time in PA school, she served as a student delegate on the American Academy of Physician Assistants House of Delegates in Washington D.C.
Lauren is fellowship-trained in general, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. She is experienced with the diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair, and nail disorders of all age groups. She focuses on skin cancer prevention, as well as anti-aging therapy. One of her specific passions is the management of hair loss. She is able to perform aesthetic procedures including BOTOX®, injectable fillers, and laser. Patient education is an integral part of her practice.
Lauren is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed through the State of Florida Board of Medicine. She is also an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
