Maria Lawhorne earned her bachelor’s degree in Medical Psychology from Washington & Jefferson College, where she was also a member of the women’s basketball team. Her experiences as both a student‑athlete and future healthcare provider strengthened her commitment to teamwork, resilience, communication, and dedication—values that continue to guide her approach to patient care. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Thiel College, further building a strong foundation in clinical practice and patient‑centered medicine.
Maria provides care for patients of all ages and has a strong clinical interest in diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin conditions. She is dedicated to the early detection and management of skin cancer, approaching every exam with thoroughness, attentiveness, and a deep sense of responsibility.
