Dr. Peter Nguyen is a board-certified who earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, where he studied Forensic and Investigative Sciences with a minor in Business, before completing his medical degree at the Texas A&M Health Science Center. Dr. Nguyen completed his internship at Riverside Community Hospital in Riverside, California, followed by his dermatology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, where he served as Chief Resident. Throughout his training, he was dedicated to medical education and mentoring future physicians, serving as a liaison for medical students interested in dermatology. In recognition of his commitment to teaching, he received the Dermatology Resident Teaching Award.
Dr. Nguyen provides comprehensive care across medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He has a special interest in skin cancer prevention, surveillance, and early detection, while also enjoying the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients and address their everyday dermatologic concerns.
His cosmetic interests include neuromodulators, microneedling, laser treatments, and other energy-based procedures, with a focus on individualized care and natural-looking results.
Known for his approachable and compassionate style, Dr. Nguyen believes that exceptional patient care begins with listening. He takes the time to understand each patient's concerns, answer questions, and develop personalized treatment plans that align with their goals.
