Dr. Travis is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in comprehensive reconstructive and aesthetic care. He attended medical school at the Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio, followed by residency training in plastic surgery at Virginia Tech Carilion, where he developed advanced expertise in complex reconstructive surgery, trauma care, and cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Travis has a particular interest in facial reconstruction, with a focus on complex repairs following Mohs surgery. His training provided extensive experience in reconstructive procedures, facial anatomy, and aesthetic surgery, allowing him to deliver individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. He is committed to helping patients restore function, improve quality of life, and achieve natural, balanced results through a patient-centered approach and meticulous surgical care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Travis enjoys fly fishing, weight training, running, and spending time with his wife and two young children.
