Credentials
Dr. Hunt is a veteran of the Air Force, where he served for seven years. He was stationed in Texas and Arizona and deployed to Saudi Arabia in support of Operation Southern Watch. He later transitioned to the Army, serving for twenty years.
Dr. Hunt earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Georgia Campus, in Suwanee. He completed his first residency in family medicine at Martin Army Community Hospital at Fort Benning, GA, and his second residency in dermatology at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California. He served as the Chief of Dermatology and the Chief of the Department of Medicine at Martin Army Community Hospital before retiring from the Army.
He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Osteopathic Association. He has received the Meritorious Service Medal and two Army Commendation Medals, one of which was awarded for his exemplary service as an executive physician mentor during his deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Dr. Hunt enjoys spending time with his wife and nine children, working out, playing racquetball, and skydiving.
