Dr. Melinda Greenfield is a Board Certified dermatologist who has recently relocated from Albany, Georgia back to her home town of Jacksonville, Florida. During her 16 years in Albany, she ran a thriving solo dermatology practice, serving the entire Southwest Georgia region.
While in Georgia, Dr. Greenfield was a Clinical Assistant Professor at both The Georgia Campus of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Medical College of Georgia. She contributed to her state and local medical community by serving on the executive board and is past president of both the Dougherty County Medical Society and the Georgia Osteopathic Medical Association. She is on the editorial board for the Journal of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, and has published multiple papers along with her students.
Dr. Greenfield attended the University of Maryland for her undergraduate degree and graduated with honors from Nova University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida with a degree in Osteopathic medicine. She spent one post-graduate year in Baltimore at the Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and three years in the Bronx for her dermatology residency at St. Barnabas Hospital.
In her free time, Dr. Greenfield enjoys cooking, making kombucha, weightlifting with her son, exercise and spending time with her family. Her 15 minutes of fame occurred when she was awarded an athletic scholarship from Athleta, her favorite athletic clothing company.
