Our dermatology practice is located in West Mifflin and serves areas such as Pleasant Hills, Elizabeth, Baldwin, Clairton, Jefferson Hills and surrounding Pittsburgh locations. Dr. Lawrence M. Stokar graduated with a B.A. in Biology at SUNY at Buffalo and attended Chicago Medical School (Rosalind Franklin University) where he graduated in 1981 after receiving his M.D. degree. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Albert Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia and became board certified in Internal Medicine in 1984. He subsequently moved to Pittsburgh where he was Chief Resident in Dermatology and completed a residency in Dermatology becoming board certified in Dermatology in 1987. Since that time, he has been in private practice in Dermatology focusing on skin cancer and medical dermatology. He is an active member of the AAD, Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania Academies of Dermatology as well as the Noah Worchester Dermatological Society. He has been named top dermatologist in Pittsburgh Magazine four times. James Worry, PA-C is board certified in Dermatology and is a Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. He holds a Doctorate of Health Science from NOVA Southwestern University and a Masters of Physician Assistant Science from St. Francis University,. Both providers specialize in detection of skin cancer. We offer total-body skin cancer examinations which are important in the detection and early diagnosis of skin cancer. We also treat the full range of skin conditions such as precancerous lesions, psoriasis, eczema, acne, and more. In addition, our office is proud to offer cosmetic treatments for the care and well being of our patients including BOTOX®, Dysport, chemical peels, and microneedling.
